Not only does she blog about her latest OOTD posts and events she's attended, but she's also a lifestyle editor of newspaper Pluto and is a fashion intern for Mary & Milly (as seen on ASOS). So read on to find out more about Ellie....
Why did you start blogging?
I was inspired after seeing other girls blogging on the internet, I saw that it was bringing them some great opportunities and enabling them to meet people they wouldn’t normally meet. I like that the blogging scene is like a community. I also felt that blogging would be a great way to show off my flair & passion for fashion & I like having my own little space on the internet.
Which topics do you like to write about and why?
I mainly write about my outfits and what I’m wearing day to day alongside collaborations with fashion brands. I also write about places I’ve been to which recently was the Manchester Christmas Markets. I’m going to go into more of a wider range of lifestyle posts and maybe start doing bedroom tours and what’s in my makeup bag to give my blog a bit more variety.
How would you describe your clothing style?
Smart / Casual, I like experimenting with colours and styles. If I like it I buy it, I don’t tend to follow the trends.
Where do you get your inspiration from?
I get a lot of my inspiration from WGSN which I have access to through my fashion brand management course. WGSN is a trend site that the industry uses to shows the trends for the next 2 years. Street Style where I also find inspiration, I’m such a people watcher and I love seeing what other people are wearing and how they style things up.
