As you know we love to interview fashion bloggers. We think it's one of the best ways to find out top fashion tips and find out some of the latest trends. Blogging is one of the fasted ways to spread news. So today, we've interviewed a fashion and beauty blogger Rebecca Casserley. She has a blog called Bec Boop, that she says serves as a diary of her fashion and beauty adventures. So read on to fine out a bit more about this young fashion blogger. You never know, you may get some new inspiration. We know that we do everything we interview a blogger :)
Tell us something about yourself!
I’m Bec Boop a fashion and beauty blogger but also an accountant!
Tell us something that you have never told anyone before!
That’s hard because I’m quite an open person. If I’m ever unsure of what to do in a situation I’ll ring my mam straight away for her advice. Even though I’m in my late twenties a mother still always knows best!
Where do you see your blog in ten years?
I would love to see Bec Boop being an International brand. I’d like to still be writing blog posts myself for Bec Boop on a daily basis and would hope that my readers continue to enjoy my content.
How would you describe your clothing style?
My style is cute and also city chic.
What are you favourite shops? Can you find these on Fashiola?
I’m a real high-street shopping lover so I love the likes of River Island, Topshop, New Look. When it comes to online shopping Asos and Boohoo are always my first stop, both of these are also on Fashiola. Other than that you might find me thrifting through a vintage market which is one of my favourite shopping experiences here in London.
Do you have other hobbies besides blogging?
I’m a full time accountant and a full blogger so I don’t have time for anything else at all really! Blogging has opened me up to new hobbies though including photography and filmmaking which is always fun to learn about. Other than I enjoy spending time with my dog.
Name your 5 ultimate fashion must haves.
- A sleeveless blazer
- black ripped jeans
- an edgy pair of ankle boots
- a striped cropped top
- a crisp white blouse
Which item in your wardrobe has a special memory?
It’s actually a necklace which belonged to my Granny and it’s a necklace from the city I grew up in - Galway (Ireland). This is my favourite item to wear as it reminds me of my granny but also of Galway which I love and which inspired my creativity.
Name some of your favourite bloggers. Why do you find their blogs so good to read?
My favourite bloggers include Naty from A Love Affair With Fashion, Victoria from In The Frow and Zoe from Zoe London. A Love Affair with Fashion was one of the first blogs I started reading and it’s one I will read on a daily basis. All of these bloggers deliver really engaging content that brings me back for more.
Your favourite piece of clothing right now.
That is so hard :) My black cropped ripped jeans from American Eagle UK. I have super short legs so it can be hard to find jeans that fit me really well and I’m such a denim lover but these are great.
Who is your favourite fashion designer?
I love Natalie B Coleman, the Irish designer.
Do you have a handy styling tip?
Yes, adding a sleeveless blazer to your outfit during the Spring/Summer months will add effortless tailoring to any look. It’s one of my favourite ways to style an outfit.
Describe your favourite outfit that you've posted on your blog.
I quite liked this outfit post where I showed how to style black in Spring. Of course I’m wearing a sleeveless blazer :)
Have you tried out our website: Fashiola – The Fashion Finder?
What did you think of it? I’ve only recently been introduced to Fashiola so I’m really looking forward to trying it out more. It looks great.
Thanks Rebecca for taking the time to do the interview. :)
