How To Wear: Floral Embroidery

We all know the famous Miranda Priestly quote: “Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking”. Normally, we are in agreement with our favourite fictional fashion editor, but this spring we are happy to eat our words as florals have been given a new life as one of the hottest trends for 2017: floral embroidery.

Spring 2017 Trends: Floral Embroidery

Fresh from the runways, this trend is taking the high street by storm and we just can't get enough, starting its life on denim jeans, the trend has now taken on another life on jackets as well as on accessories.

Embroidery Jeans

This is the centre piece of the trend and has so many great options for a wide range of budgets. We love the mom jeans version of this trend, offering both comfort and style but if you are a die-hard skinny jeans fan, fear not, there still plenty of stylish options for you. Pair with a tee and trainers for a relaxed weekend look or dress it up with some heels and a blazer for a dinner with the girls.

Embroidered Jackets

We always love a new twist on the classic leather jacket and these jackets definitely are the best of both worlds. Go for a dark jacket with the boldest and most comfortable embroidery you can find to really nail this trend. Pair with an LBD and heels for an edgy night-out look or pair with your favourite skinnies and some combat boots for a more casual look. If leather jackets aren't your thing, go for a denim or khaki option.

Embroidered Bags

We love these statements bags as they can really add something to your finished look and  can so easily be incorporated into every outfit. Check there is no clashing colours from the bag to your look and pair with some flared jeans or maybe even some tailored trousers. If you are into an all-black ensemble, use the embroidered bag to add just a little touch of colour to your look.

So there you have it, some easy ways to incorporate floral embroidery into your outfit. How will you be wearing this trend? Let us know on Twitter.
